Original period manufacture.A Luftwaffe pattern overseas hat, worn by the female communication specialists and telephone switchboard operators during WWII.Nice quality Luftwaffe blue material, with cinnamon piping, enlisted pattern eagle, and worn without the national rosette.Unmarked, gray cotton lining with the initials TA, embroidered on a small tag which is sewn to the bottom edge of the hat.No moth damage, normal age and wear.
