Original period manufacture. A well worn, cotton embroidered Luftwaffe Pilot's Badge on Luftwaffe blue wool. On the reverse are four small metal snaps which allowed the badge to be worn on the uniform.This formed part of a large assortment of uniform and hat insignia, which was cut from those items, and brought home from WWII by a US Army veteran from Connecticut.
