Original era manufacture. German WWII Luftwaffe Direction Finder wool insignia, and award document presenting the soldier with the right to wear the insignia.Silver gray cotton embroidery on a Luftwaffe blue wool disc. Small moth bite in the edge of the insignia.The document recognizes his service from April to July 1944. The document has been folded and there is a small hole at the center.
