Original era manufacture. One of the souvenirs brought home by Cpl Roy Altenbach, Ordnance Section, US Army at the end of WWII. Very clean, issue quality hat with the orange colored cotton lining which is dated 1936 and size marked 57. The sweatshield is missing and the leather sweatband is offset. The sweatband stitching looks period but the ventilation perforations are off to one side instead of in the front where the should be, perhaps a postwar repair. No moth issues to report, just slightly out of round from storage. Very clean.
