Original era manufacture. Stamped steel enlisted buckle, with an original sewn tab, maker marked H. Aurich,Dresden, and 1941 dated. Little of the original finish remains on the obverse of the buckle, with some original paint remaining on the interior.Sound condition black leather service belt with a stamped steel keeper. The stitching is sound, the leather stiffened a bit from age. The belt measures 35.5 inches from the catch to the first adjusting hole. Normal age and wear overall.
