Original era manufacture. This is an interesting set. Size marked 90 black leather service belt with an aluminum catch. Stamped steel enlisted buckle showing a mix of LW blue paint and steel patina, very pleasing. Original sewn brown leather adjusting tab, which is maker marked H.Aurich Dresden and dated 1941. The inside of the belt displays an intersting history, official unit marks to the I battlaion, LW Flak Regiment 7. In addition, hand applied, scrimshaw-like carvings can also be seen, a soldiers name, crossed rifle & bayonet, Fallschirmjager Rgt, Obersleutnant Hermann, 1944/45. POW done? Who knows, we didn't see this when we purchased the set.
