Original era manufacture. An issue quality hat in good form, ribbed LW blue wool with a black mohair cap band. The visor binding is sound as is the visor stitching. There is a "cool guy" pinch to the top of the hat giving it a jaunty look. The leather sweatband is sound, tight stitching, while the sweat diamond shows some wear and missing portions near the edges. There also is a bit of age separation to the fabric behind the cap wreath. One small mothhole in the top near the back. Swastika missing from the eagles claws as shown. Overall a sound original hat needing an eagle replacement.
