Original period manufacture. An issue quality hat with machine sewn insignia, the machine stitching of which does not pierce the lining. Double button front with some light surface corrosion on the lower button. Gray blue imitation silk lining in an hbt design, with numerous clear markings and staining from soldier use and wear. No moth issues to report, an honest original hat.
