Original era manufacture. Silver gray cotton embroidery on Luftwaffe blue wool, with loose threads around its edges from being cut from a tunic.This example formed part of a large assortment of uniform/hat removed cloth insignia  brought home from WWII by a Connecticut US Army veteran.
