Original era manufacture. A fine quality, enlisted, private purchase visor hat piped in golden yellow for Flieger or Fallschirmjager troops. High saddle, doeskin wool hat with bright aluminum LW pattern eagle and wreath. Light gray imitation silk lining with a complete sweatshield with a size tag marked 53. Full and damage free, perforated leather sweatband with a white back bow. Bound edge black visor with a green underside, adjustable black patent leather chinstrap. No moth issues to report, in fact it appears as if the hat was just taken out of the box. The only minor issue is some small surface sections missing from the chinstrap. These missing sections appear on the left side of the hat near the attaching button.
