Original period manufacture. A reissued Soldbuch to Oberjager Erich Griessler, with numerous entries as shown. On the inside pocket is a stiff, opaque paper envelope with a hand written inscription, "This German was captured in the Po valley after being wounded. He left this in my ambulance. 4/4/45".Inside the envelope are 8 original black and white photos, several of them being postcard size. In the group photo where the soldiers are shown seated, you can see that several of them are wearing their Fallschirmjager badges.Excellent research potential.
