Original era manufacture. Non take-down model, with a clearcross-grain polished blade with the SMF logo and rostfrei on the reverse side. The cutting edge displays evidence of sharpening, with a slight curve to the cutting edge. Thepoint remains sharp, the blade can be extended and dropped down into the grip, but sticks a little in the process. Typical scratching to the blade surface but no corrosion issues. The light color wood grips are not cracked or chipped, showing onlylight marring and denting from use. Luftwaffe proof on the base of the marlin spike.
