Original era manufacture. Brown pebble grain leather mapcase with clear Luftwaffe issue marks on the underside of the flap. This was a souvenir of a WWII 3rd Division veteran who worked as an electrician postwar. He used this mapcase to carry his pens and pencils and other small pieces of equipment during those years of work. The mapcase is sound but a bit dry around the edges.
