Original era manufacture. A very sound example of an issue Luftwaffe enlisted Nachtrichten visor hat. No moth issues to report. the chinstrap and visor binding are intact and not damaged, with an intact sweat shield with clear makers logo. Named in two places to Walter Voges, and unit marked on the underside of the leather sweatband III/KG 153, third group, Kampfgeschwader 153. The hat is not crushed or damaged and displays quite nicely. A very researchable hat unit wise, as KG153 became KG3, prior to 1939, flying the Do-17 in combat in France, over Britain and later the Eastern Front where it served until the end of the war.
