Original era manufacture. Patriotic cover with a large aluminum Luftwaffe eagle, in the lower right corner, is Meine Dientstzeit (My Service Time). Inside are over 150 original bw photos of a young man's service with JG-26 from about 1939 until 1942. Overall the content is quite good, with 9 individual photos with Me-109 fighter aircraft depicted. In some of the photos the "Adamson" cartoon character can be seen on the fusalage, and on others the famous"S" in a shield of the "Abbeville Boys". Many of the photographs are dated, some are identified as to an individual or place, with good detail regarding uniforms, equipment, flak guns, vehicles (some with the Adamson cartoon on their doors), nurses and so on. The pages are in general poor condition with flaking edges, however the photos are quite clear and legible. Excellent research potential.
