Original era manufacture. Dark, Luftwaffe blue paint finish with original decals as shown. Size and maker marked on the neckskirt, ET66 (Eisenhuttenwerk, Thale).Most of the factory paint finish remains intact, with typical scattered staining and scuffs to the surface. No major dents or corrosion issues, there is a small caliber bullet strike on the right side, low and to the left of the ventilator.Three original rivets with slot washers, original liner and band, with scuffing to the edge of the liner. None of the fingers have pulled through, and the original adjusting string is present. I believe this liner has been in this helmet since 1945. No chinstrap.
