Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Luftwaffe M1942 steel helmet as worn on all fronts during WWII. Complete, original leather liner with adjusting string, all three rivets with slot washers in place and an original, complete leather chinstrap. The liner leather is flaking a bit around the edge but none of the fingers are broken but there is a bit of surface cracking. The original chinstrap is basically pliable but also a bit stiff but not broken. Nice Luftwaffe fyling eagle decal as shown. The exterior of the shell is quite dark and looks as if it had been oiled a bit a while ago. Honest original helmet overall.
