Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Luftwaffe issue M1942 steel helmet with original decal as shown .Original paint finish on the shell and rivets. The helmet liner is original and complete, as is the leather chinstrap. Its a smaller size helmet, stamped in the skirt, ET6, the last digit is not visible, would give a size guess as a 56. The liner is complete, has its adjusting string, is a little stiff from age, but not brittle or torn. The chinstrap remains pliable, and has been hooked over the visor for many years. An honest, helmet which has never been cleaned, or tampered with, and that is saying something these days.
