Original period manufacture. Luftwaffe proofed, polished steel blade with aslightly roundedtip. The blade measures nearly 6.75 inches in length, exhibiting a service sharpened edge, with scattered staining along both sides. No corrosion pitting.Sound wood grips showing light marring from handling and use over the years. Black painted steel scabbard with two metal prongs on the reverse, the center prong is missing.
