Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following: hardwood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. This stock is unusual, in that the buttplate has not been renumbered. The stock itself is in original finish, with clear markings on the stock face to include the letter L, for Luftwaffe issue. There is an expertly done, period repair at the toe of the stock, the damaged area was cut away and a separate piece of hardwood  was fitted in place at the toe. Mix of serial numbers throughout.
