Original era manufacture. Standard Luftwaffe officers pattern tunic with silver piping to the collar edging. Original sewn, in a left & right shoulder straps, in the rank of a Lieutenant-Colonel of flight. Matching rank, handsewn collar tabs with silver embroidery on golden yellow wool. Above the left pocket is a sewn-on, six place ribbon bar, with loops above for the full size medal bar. Below, are loops for additional badges, with a silver wire aigulette on the right shoulder. Full original lining with a Munster tailor's label in the inner pocket, giving the officers name and a date of 1936. Cloth strap with a chrome D ring for carrying a dagger or sword sewn below the left sleeve. The tunic is clean, shows light wear fromuse but no mothing save for one small spot on the rear of the collar, no damage to the lining, just light staining from wear. Size about a 40 regular. The breeches are a slightly different shade of blue-graywool in a ribbed pattern with some wear and fraying on the interior lining of the waistband. There a few, small, scattered snags and other minor repairs to the fabric, but certainly nothing extensive. All of the buttons and other fittings are present, and overall the breeches are quite clean and presentable. The very vintage looking pair of suspenders were on the breeches at the time of our purchase. Overall a nice solid uniform toa senior officer in the Luftwaffe.
