Original Period Manufacture. Silver wire embroidered Luftwaffe officers visor cap eagle and wreath. Mothing to the edge trimof the eagle, the wreathretains most of the wool edging.This pairformed part of a large assortment of uniform and hat insignia, which was cut from those items, andbrought home from WWII by a US Army veteran from Connecticut.
