German WWII Luftwaffe Officer Visor Hat

Original era manufacture. Nice quality officers hat with all bullion insignia. Ribbed Luftwaffe blue wool body, black mohair band and fiber visor with an oilcloth bound edge. The sweatband and liner are complete with no damage, just normal age and wear. The silver wire piping is intact save for one small spot in the rear of the hat where the stiffening reed is poking through. During storage since WWII the hat body has been pushed forward a bit, but when placed on a display head it looks wonderful. Excellent hat to display with any Luftwaffe officers uniform from Leutnant to General.
