Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Luftwaffe sword made by Eickhorn and with a Luftwaffe property stamp just above the makers logo on the blade. The chrome finished steel blade measures 28 inches in length, and is quite clean, no real issues to report, just a single shallow nick in the cutting edge. Nice dark patina finish to the guard and pommel, with a blue leather wrapped grip bound with double strand wire. Leather covered metal scabbard with matching alloy fittings, all mounting screws are intact, with only some very minor marring to the leather surface. The leather carrier is not present. A very clean sword with a very nice dark silver patina finish to the metal fittings.
