German WWII Luftwaffe Officers Sword, Weyersberg Mfg, With It's Original Storage Bag

Original era manufacture. What a lovely old sword, nickel silver fittings displaying a very attractive mottledsilver patina. Very sound, original sewn blue leather suspension hanger with no issues. Dent free, damage free, blue leather covered metal scabbard with no dryness or surface cracking visible. Matching silver patina to the guard and pommel with a very nice contrast with the swastikas. There is a spotof wear down to the wood on one side of the grip, however the grip wire is intact and the leather covering has a nice lustre. The 30 inch chromed steel blade is a beauty, no issues, no corrosion, no sharpening, no bending, just a light touch of runner wear, even thatbeing difficult to see. On the reverse ricasso is the Weyersberg logo and just above a Luftwaffe proof. Thisold sword has remained in this condition largely due to it's original dark blue wool felt storage bag with a black/white cord tie. There is some minor mothing to one side of the bag and the thin leather carrying handle is broken and missing a portion of it's strap. Blue leather covered tip, matching the leather on the scabbard and grip. Likely one of the nicest Luftwaffe swords we have ever offered.
