German WWII Luftwaffe Officers Tunic, Flieger Hauptman

Original era manufacture. Luftwaffe blue gabardine fout pocket tunic with silver wire edging around the collar. While original manufacture, all of the insignia has been postwar added in my opinion. Good quality bullion embroidered eagle which is handstitched to the tunic, bullion and wool Hauptman rank collar tabs and shoulderboards. There are loops for a ribbon bar and two badges on the left breast, with an EK ribbon through the buttonhole. There is a dagger strap on the inside of the tunic along with two interior pockets. Light scattered fraying and snagging to the tunic material, however the tunic presents verywell. The hat shown in our photographs is available (for now) elsewhere on our site and is here only to keep our mannequins head warm during the winter photo shoot. Tunic size is about a size 40 regular.
