Original era manufacture. A cork bodied helmet covered in tan canvas material with tan leather edge binding and chinstrap. The underside of the helmet is covered in an olive green cotton, with a red cotton lining. The sweatband is missing, the tri-color shield is present, and a clear outline of a Luftwaffe eagle can be seen on the left side of the helmet. The body of the helmet is not crushed or broken, just a little out of round from handling and poor storage. Good base for a restoration project.
