Original era manufacture. A cork bodied helmet covered in olive green canvas material with tan leather edge binding and chinstrap. Red cotton lining to the interior of the helmet with a tan leather sweatband which is maker marked WPB, size marked 56. The overall condition of the helmet is excellent save for the fact that it's insignia were removed, perhaps by someone wanting to wear this postwar.
