Original period manufacture. A very interesting album of 156 original black and white photos, mounted to ivory colored pages, many of which are hand decorated with period pen and ink illustrations.Nearly every page is identified in some way, including photos of GFM Kesselring visiting General Lortzer (sic). Evidently the unit the man served with was a light Flak battery assigned to Loerzer's HQ as the General appears in a number of photos.This visit would have been in the summer of 1941 when Loerzer served in Kesselring's 2nd Air Fleet during the opening stages of the invasion of Russia. Luftwaffe blue imitation leather cover decorated with a silver outline of a bomber.
