German WWII Luftwaffe Pioneer Enlisted Visor Hat

Original period manufacture. An officers quality hat of wartime construction, with bright aluminum hat insignia. The bound visor is securely sewn to the body of the hat, no moth issues to report. I believe the eagle insignia, while original, has been replaced at some point, as the attaching prongs of the eagle piece the lining. The imitation sweatband is nearly all there, with several breaks, but no missing sections. Officers quality imitation silk lining, which is missing it's sweatshield. A scarce waffenfarbe to find in any condition, this example is very presentable.
