Original period manufacture. A large format album, measuring 16 x 12 x 1 inches, containing 245 black and white photos of a Luftwaffe Motorized Signal Battalion during the first year of WWII.The album was apparently unit produced, with most of the photographs identified as to content, with the album itself named to Leutnant Pabst. Postwar, a previous owner has provided English translations of the German captions.The content includes training, vehicle accidents, the invasion of France in May 1940, French casualties and destroyed equipment, Dunkirk with destroyed British ships, Herman Goring, and two photos of Adolf Hitler.
