Original period manufacture. An issue quality hat in a ribbed Luftwaffe blue wool with a black mohair band, cinnamon brown wool piping throughout. Standard orange cotton lining which is missing its sweatshield, clear makers name, 1939 date and size marked 57. Real leather sweatband which has been repaired a bitin the back of the hat and on one side with a spot of glue. Original aluminum eagle and wreath, patent leather chinstrap with a Luftwaffe style bound edge visor. No mothing, just normal wear and use.
