Original era manufacture. An issue quality hat, purchased from the son of a US 8th Air Force veteran.The hat is clean, with all original insignia present with a single, pencil point moth bite on the underside of the top. Unit marked on the inside of the sweatband.'It's defects are obvious, yet repairable for a collector is handy. The visor is attached by a thread, and the sweatband has begun to come away from the body. It is what it is, but still quite clean.
