Original era manufacture. A very presentable example showing some scattered mothing around its edge. Nice and clean lining with an intact sweatshield which is maker marked and dated 1938, size 53. The insignia appears to be original to the piece and the chinstrap is unbroken. The visor is securely attached to the body of the hat and the edging is sound. Unit markings stamped on the underside of the sweatband.
