Original era manufacture. German WWII Luftwaffe Wehrpass issued in 1939 to a man born in 1904, photo in cover. He served with Flak units throughout the war, with considerable service and combat seen in Italy. Awarded the KvK and Eastern Front Medal, and later the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Inside the front cover pocket are several additional documents, one providing additional information on his service, including the Nettuno beachhead. In addition a certificate awarding him the Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge, for an action which occurred on 6 October 1944 near Velletri Italy, for helping to stop an attack by enemy (likely American) troops. The document shows him serving with Flakregiment 105 (mot.), and initialed by the Battery Commander. Excellent research potential.
