Original era manufacture. A sound example of the standard WWII Luftwaffe enlisted wool overseas hat, but without insignia. Gray cotton lining which is nicely maker marked and dated 1940.]The wool is clean but shows some scattered mothing but nothing really detracting, and the loose threads of where the insignia once was can be seen. Size marked 57.
