Original era manufacture A complete Luftwaffe M1935 double decal helmet with its original liner and chinstrap.Overall the helmet exhibits typical age and wear for the era but no real damage. The eagle decal shows considerable surface wear as shown, the tri-color decal was overpainted per the 1940OKW order but at some point the paint was removed exposing the tri-color once again. Intact leather liner with its original adjusting strap. No issues beyond some surface scuffing and dryness. None of the rivets holding the liner in placeretain their slot washers. Original chinstrap shows considerable wear and has been stretched out a bit and is rather thin. On the interior of the lining are three period unit inkstampedmarkings, FL.H.KDTR,SCHOENWALDE,LUFTNACHRICHTEN. Schoenwalde Airbase was located outside Berlinand was established in 1934, and captured by the Red Army inApril 1945.
