Original era manufacture. Pebbled aluminum buckle with good detail remaining. It is marked forward of the catch F.R.38. The leather adjusting tab bears a similar marking but in this case the full makers name of FRANZ REISCHATTER and the date of 1938. Three of the four sides of stitching have come loose, the top side, next to the attaching prong bar remains intact.
