Original era manufacture. WWI steel helmet maker marked Bell L 64 in the neckskirt (R. Lindenberg A.G., Remscheid-Hasten). Original M1931 leather liner and rivets with a complete WWII style chinstrap. Dark feldgrau finish to the steel helmet, original Army pattern decal as shown. The helmet has not been cleaned in many years and displays an out-of-the-attic look to it. Nice old helmet from a fairly unusual maker.
