German WWII M1931 Messkit & Leather Strap

Original era manufacture. Mismatched maker marks, ESB 39 top, and MN 37 base. Aluminum bodied with a collector applied ordnance tan paint finish. Included with the messkit is a proper leather strap with the sewn side strap to allow the messkit to be attached to a pack or breadbag. The strap is sound but does not show any clear markings so may be early Bundeswehr. At any rate it is quite sound for display and use.
