Original era manufacture. Early production dagger with nickel fittings and a brown anodized scabbard, non Solingen based firm of Aesculapp in Tutlingen. The blade is brightish but does show scattered areas of graying, clear makers mark on the ricasso. The scabbard fittings have a silver alloy color patina to them indicating that they have not been cleaned in a long time. Good color remains on the scabbard body with one shallow dent. The grip is sound, retains both emblems, however it appears to have been sanded at one time in the past. Original hanger on the suspension ring. All scabbard fitting screws are in place.
