Original era manufacture. Early production dagger with nickel fittings and a brown anodized scabbard. The blade is brightish but does show scattered areas of spotting and graying, clear makers mark on the ricasso. The scabbard fittings have a gold color patina to them indicating that they have not been cleaned in a long time, good color remains on the scabbard body. The grip is sound, retains both emblems, however a GI has scratched the initial of his last name and the last four digits of his service number on the grip, M7667. Original leather hanger showing wear and use.
