Original era manufacture. Early pattern dagger with nickel fittings and a lacquered, anodized finished scabbard. The blade is clean showing crossgrain polish with scattered spots of age staining and runner wear. The tip is very slightly bent, the edges are very lightly sharpened. The blade has not been polished or cleaned so a bit of simichrome will do some good here. Sound wood grips with both emblems, no chips or missing pieces, just normal light bumps from age and handling. There is a small, very thin crack on the reverse from the lower guard. The scabbard body is dent free with a small bump to the pommel tip. Lots of original lacquer remains with a few spots of light corrosion. Original leather hanger with a brown leather belt loop.
