Original era manufacture. Early pattern dagger with nickel fittings and a anodized brown painted scabbard body. The blade is quite bright, lots of original polish with a very pleasing contrast of the motto to the blade surface. Maker marked on the reverse. No cracks or chips to the wooden grip although the lacquer finish shows wear. Flattened ball tip as is the norm with SA daggers and a decent original leather hanger on the suspension ring. All fitting screws are present.
