Original period manufacture. Transitional pattern dagger with plated fittings and a brown painted scabbard body. The blade is clean with traces of the crossgrain polish visible, with very clear motto and Eickhorn & RZM markings. The blade has been polished so presents a very bright appearance. Light bubbling to the guards, sound wood grip with both emblems present, tiny crack above the enameled disc. The scabbard finish is original and shows typical age crazing. All fitting screws are present and the ball tip is lightly dented. Clean dagger with a very sound brown leather, RZM marked hanger.
