Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings, browned scabbard and a fairly dent-free lower fitting ball. Overall it has a nice unmessed with look to it, fair amount of original finish remains on the scabbard body along with traces of the original lacquer finish. The blade is clean with lots of original polish visible, with a strong motto and clear makers logo. Very slight bend at the point. No chips or cracks in the wooden grip, with both original emblems in place. WF, unit marked on the reverse of the lower guard fitting.
