Original era manufacture. Sound, original example which comes complete with a period leather hanger. Plated metal fittings on the upper and lower guards and scabbard. The blade is quite clean with lots of cross grain polish visible with just the typical runner wear in evidence. The grip retains both of its emblems, with no cracks or chips but does show a spot of grain separation in the grip just above the aluminum eagles left wing. The painted steel scabbard retains most of its original finish with some scattered bubbling from dampness. Light wear to the lower grip guard surface. All in all a bright looking dagger showing normal age and wear.
