Original era manufacture. RZM marked blade displaying the M7/66 number overassigned to Eickhorn, 1941 year date appearing below the RZM code. The blade is very clean, nice motto contrast with plenty of cross grain polish remaining. Decent plated fittings with no bubbling issues. Decent wood grip, no cracks or chips, both emblems remain in place. Some typical shallow dents and wear to the finish from time and use. Plated scabbard fittings, all mounting screws are present. The scabbard body is clean but I feel has been refinished, there are a few shallow dents in the surface on each side but nothing serious. Nice quality original brown leather hanger was on the suspension ring at the time of our purchase.
