Original era manufacture. A very clean example of one of the most popular of the Third Reich era daggers. This has the RZM code of M7/83, as assigned to the firm of Richard Plumacher & Sohne of Solingen. The blade is clean with no major issues, nice contrast to the motto and markings, typical runner-wear, with some minor scattered spotting and staining to the surface. Early style nickel metal upper & lower guards with age and staining to the surfaces. Original wooden grip, with a bright aluminum eagle and an enameled SS disc at top. Chip in the wood next to the enameled disc. Surface corrosion on the plated tang nut. Nearly all of the original gloss black paint finish remains on the scabbard body, dent-free, only some typical minor scratches and blemishes. Plated fittings, so this likely  a marriage of an original scabbard and original dagger. Attached to the suspension ring is an original, black leather strap and OLC marked snap hook with RZM. Nice fit between the bottom of the lower guard and scabbard throat.
