Original period manufacture. A very fine example of the pre WWII German Army M1935 steel helmet. Maker and size marked on the inside of the left neckskirt ET64. Original decals and paint as shown. All three of the original rivets with slot-washers are in place. Complete and original leather liner, size marked 57 with its drawstring in place.Intact and pliable original leather chinstrap with a painted steel adjusting buckle. The leather is sound but a bit dry, no markings or date. No inkstamp in the crown of the helmet that I could see.
